Despite no formal training in art, this 27-year-old autistic artist paints, does mosaic work and enjoys weaving. His love for colours helps him to overcome his anxiety and he explores various mediums for free expression. He currently resides in Mysore.

Bihag Srinivas

 A young adult of 24 years blessed with Asperger's syndrome is a versatile artist from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He is passionate and extremely precise about his art work. His
keenness about exacting the details of his painting is amazing. Usage of
vibrant colours and different media excites him. Art forms like Madhubani,
Kantha and Mandala are his favourites. Singing, playing tabla, story telling
and photography are his other interests.

A keen and energetic 18-year-old, on the autism spectrum, he loves painting landscapes and abstracts. He seeks independence and purpose through his art. Innovative colour pallet and simple details are his fingerprint, featured in many national and international exhibitions. He currently reside in Gurgaon.

This 21-year-old, blessed with Down Syndrome, lives in Bangalore and loves photography and acrylic art. She also enjoys cooking, driving and traveling with her family. She expresses herself by freezing beautiful moments through her photos. On acrylic, she uses abstract forms to communicate her deep delight in nature.

A 25-year-old autistic artist, he has completed his SSC and a Diploma in Fine Arts in Mumbai. He was felicitated at State and National levels and also received Gold Medal in Kalawart National Art Contest 2019 in open category. Other than art, he is also very fond of music.

Karishma Kannan

Karishma Kannan is a self-advocate, nature lover, artist,
model, Purple Ambassador for Downs Syndrome and speaker at the UN, Geneva
(World Downs Syndrome Day 2019). She has received The World Downs Syndrome Award in 2014 at the World Downs Syndrome Congress for her contributions and again in 2018
she received The Self-Advocacy Award from Downs Syndrome Federation of India. She is a certified Yoga Trainer, has walked the ramp in Fashion shows and has received a certificate for mountaineering from the High-Altitude Adventure Training Academy, Kathmandu, Nepal.

He is a 23-year-old autistic artist who loves doing intricate art works with a Micro tip pen. He lives in Hyderabad and also loves Cheriyal, Madhubani and Warli paintings. He loves to travel. Drawing and writing are his preferred modes of communication.

Morpheus Nag is a 17 year old boy from Chandigarh. Despite 68% multiple disability of Autism and Dyslexia he has passed his 10th exam from regular School. During lock down period he underwent severe depression and other neurological problems. He fought against all these odds and continued his art practice. His other interests are Chess and Tabla.

Art helps to convert his negativity into positivity.

Sahil is a 32-year-old, autistic painter from Mumbai. He is a natural artist and can replicate drawings and pictures. He loves bright colours and uses different mediums. He attends a sheltered workshop where he makes artefacts like paper bags and paints and diyas.

Satavisa is 31 years old, with learning disabilities and indistinct speech from Kolkata. She has found enormous learning by assisting a drawing teacher in school before COVID. Satavisa uses all mediums - pencil/pen sketch, water colour and fabric/oil paintings. She loves nature – its tranquility, serenity and beauty.

Drawing to her is like breathing.

A 22-year-old, blessed with Down syndrome, he is trained in drawing and painting. He learns photography online and is a brown Senior Belt in Karate. His work has been exhibited and awarded in many national and international exhibitions. He enjoys Madhubani and Mandala artwork. He is based in Ahmedabad.

He is 35 years old living in Gurugram and blessed with Down syndrome. He is a proud potter and artist. He paints with different mediums like acrylic paints, pastels, pens and crayons on either canvas, paper or board. His work symbolizes his take on the world around him and how he relates to it.

Shreyas is an ever-happy, 16 year old Autistic artist from Mumbai. He loves to draw Mandala, Warli art forms with a pen. He also loves to work with oil pastels and more recently acrylic colours. Creating art around festival themes and deities (Ganapati being his favoured) gives him a lot of joy. His budding talent is currently being honed by his tutors.
